Ok, I just suckered Donny into doing his own webblog. Welcome to the fold, my young padawan.

Dao and I went to Vegas over the weekend to celebrate one of her friend's birthdays. Last Saturday night, we went to see Mamma Mia, a musical based on ABBA's songs. It was a blast. Most of the songs reminded me of my childhood. I grew up listening to these and thanks to Mamma Mia, the memories are fresh and clear in my mind as if they just happened yesterday.
Also, I want to give a shoutout to Bern for starting her own Blog account. Welcome to the Dark Side!!!! :-) Wednesday, October 15, 2003
If you guys wanna waste time at work, then I suggest checking out this game called Gridlock. It's the bomb-diggity!! You will spend many an hour glued to your computer trying to solve the puzzles. I've already hooked my friends and my sister on it. I'm looking for more people to turn to the dark side.
MUWAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!! Monday, October 13, 2003
How hard is it to make coffee anyway? You take out the filter, put in a new one, put the coffee grounds on it and then press the ON button on the CoffeeMaker. One-minute tops. So why is it that people persist on being assholes and leave the pot empty when they kill it? It is so annoying!! It takes ONE frickin' minute to be considerate. I swear if I find that punk that did it, I'm gonna shove his coffee mug up his ass sideways!!!
bastards..... As Terrible Terry Tate once said: If you kill the Joe, you make some mo'!!!! Sunday, October 12, 2003
Andre just had a Halloween party last night that he called, "The Pre-Oween". It was pretty cool. Donny dressed up as 50 cent (more like Pipty Sent), using a cardboard cutout with a black shirt stapled on top of it. He also used velcro stuck to some black ribbon that he got from Michael's as a way of putting it all together. The guy was totally thugged out!!! He was so bling that all these chicks wanted to dance with him. Too bad he was so drunk he was freaking every guy in the place instead. Including me. I felt violated. Curious, but violated.
And on a footnote, I came dressed as a convict from the Chicago County Jail. Nothing special there. Wednesday, October 08, 2003
Damn.... it's been awhile since my last post. I finished my 12 hour-a-day shift earlier this week, and let me tell you how glad I am that it's out of the way. But because of certain technical issues, I was only able to test one of the two versions I was asked to test. But suffice it to say, I was still able to contribute to the overall success of both of our upcoming software releases. It feels so good to be able to contribute in such a way that I improved the software packages before the clients got a hold of them. I know I'm tooting my own here right now, but dammit, I think I deserve it!
Oh yeah. Yesterday afternoon, I voted at the Recall Election. My voting station was at my Apartment Complex's clubhouse, so it was literally 75 yards from my front door. I pretty much had no real excuse for not voting, so I mosied on down there and cast my ballot. My verdict: Yes on the Recall, but no governor chosen. I felt I wasn't informed enough to make an educated decision on which governor to choose. Arnold didn't really appeal to me and at one point, I was choosing between McClintock and Larry Flint!! Surprisingly, Flint's platform somehow "called" to me, but I didn't give myself enough time to be educated on what the other candidates were putting on the table, so I decided to not give my support to any one candidate and let fate deal the hands out as they were. I told myself I would live with whoever won the election. I figured it doesn't get any worse than this, especially with next year's budget deficit slated to be at around $8 BILLION bucks. And I read this morning that Arnold won the election, so Mr. Terminator is gonna be online as the next CA Gov by November 16, when he gets sworn in. I sure hope as hell that he does a better job than Davis!!! Go Ahhhnuld!!! Thursday, October 02, 2003
Day 3 of my neverending 12 hour-shift saga. My eyes are sagging, my body is tired and my nuts are drooping. But that's ok, things are good. I've taken up the mentality that no matter how crappy my situation is right now, it's still better than most other people's. I think it's all in the head. If you can go into situations with the right frame of mind, it should turn out great and you actually become a better person for it.
Or you can just say, and drink yourself stupid drunk until the world spins around like a top and you're feelin' up the guy beside you because you think he's Stacie Orrico. Wednesday, October 01, 2003
Oh man.... another day early at work.... whoever said that "The early Man gets the worm" can shove it up his ass. I don't know how people can do this everyday. I'm dying after two straight days. I guess it doesn't help that I still go to sleep after midnight. Dammit!!! Why is being responsible such a frickin' burden!!!
